Post-Event Analysis

A post-event analysis occurs when a service professional, and specifically the event captain of a service professional team, conducts a review of an event. The coat check captain performs their own version of a post-event analysis as a post-event review.

After the coat check captain debriefs with the coat check staff (if present), they should complete a post-event review. This review includes:

  • Documenting any remaining coats and/or additional items left by guests that have been provided to the client (and communicated as their responsibility).

  • Documenting any damage to the venue or equipment.

  • Communicating all documented details to the client or relevant venue contact and other captains (if necessary).

  • Ensuring understanding and satisfaction with the client or relevant venue contact before departing.
