Review Safety Protocols
Pre-event preparation and setup involve reviewing safety protocols. The cocktail captain should review all of the protocols defined in the Captain Fundamentals course (CAPT 1000). They should also emphasize both how to manage a visibly intoxicated person (VIP) and how to identify, handle, communicate, and respond to common allergens and allergic reactions.
